firefox 3.6.3 Firefox 3.6.3 display problem solved

I woke to another day of viewing one of my websites totally screwy on the new Firefox 3.6.3 installed yesterday.

I at first assumed it was me, or the CSS, but then had a brainwave.

I searched Google for “firefox website display problem April 2010″

Ah bingo! I am not the only one experiencing this! So I popped over to the Firefox Support page:

This must be widespread because they already had quick links to solve these issues. I clicked the link to ask a question and was presented with some options.

so I clicked the first options and was presented with more choices:

I chose the first one “websites look wrong“, and was taken to this page:

I followed each of the suggestions on this page, and it was CLEARING THE CACHE which solved it for me.


This is what my website is supposed to look like (not the one long stream of data without columns I was presented with this morning) – much better!
