Tweet Beeps – Similar To Google Alerts, Only On Twitter.com .

I just read about http://tweetbeep.com, and I’m sooo excited!

If you’ve followed me for a while, you probably know how much I love GoogleAlerts.  I also love Twitter, so now I’ve found a service called Tweet Beeps which I can use the same way that I use Google Alerts. Whenever my specific phrases are found in ANY Twitter posts, I get a notification – how cool is that?

So why use it?

These notifications will highlight any  discussions that you may want to join for various reasons, to include speedy “customer support,” thanking people for a nice compliment, answering questions about your products and services etc.

If you do come across people “tweeting” lovely positive things about your  (your product or service), you can then ask them for testimonials, which you can add to your website.

One last thing – the idea is not to sit on Twitter all day, but many of us either access email constantly or receive email notifications — so by setting up these TweetBeeps it all comes into your inbox, and you only have to pop over to your Twitter account when you need to icon smile TweetBeeps Google Alerts on Twitter

Easy peasy!

Enjoy – and do let me know what you think. Have you tried this already? Have you had success with this? Please write a comment and let me know – I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Cheers
