Excellent question I received this week. Whether you have an online business or offline business, you’ll no doubt hear these buzzwords at some point. icon smile What is the difference between B2B and B2C?

B2B is an acronym which stands for Business To Business. This means YOUR business primarily sells to other businesses.
B2C is an acronym which stands for Business To Consumers. This means YOUR business primarily sells to consumers (non-businesses).
You might hear this term at networking events related to business, or as a buzzword on the internet in articles you may read.
It helps to know what the terms mean so that you can understand who your potential customers are – businesses – or – consumers. Once you clarify this (and it may be both for your business) you can target your marketing at each type of customer.
