An SEO suggested that I take all the content on my Twitter page and auto-feed it into a section on my website. Will this really help my site’s PageRank? Does simply duplicating my Twitter page really earn any juice? How can we capitalize on Twitter? Land Lubber, Colorado

About “Adding my Twitter feed to my website?”, Matt says:

  • it doesn’t hurt, but you won’t get better rankings
  • go ahead and post SOME Twitter comments on your site – think of your week’s HIGHLIGHTS
  • you don’t want to DUPLICATE every tweet, because then your website visible tweets is just a duplication of your Twitter Stream
  • remember to share great link, so if you tweet about a great article you read, that’s well worth putting on your site in your ‘featured Tweets’ section
  • new content is great, but your website visitors don’t want to see everything they just read on your Twitter page.
